Steam family share - every COD has been steam family shareable, letting you share your library to max 5 people, but only one can use it (inc. It's not exactly an economical decision, because:Įvery COD game on Steam has been cracked soon. It's gonna take more effort to implement that (BattleNET friends, Steam friends, the not favoritized WZ menu with other CODs in them for cross-launch.) (future Tom speaking - maybe not so much since it's going to be a hard-reset. Do please keep in mind that I did not include the lack of XP token bonus which is in-game store exclusive:Īlthrough I'm happy about this, it's confusing me.ĭon't take me wrong, I like Steam and I do perfer it, but if I was Activision, I would not choose this, and here is why: Here is a comment I made pre-trailer release regarding this issue. I do perfer Steam, but I have a feeling that I still might need battleNET launcher in order to launch the game and that Steam will only provide license, therefore needing to have two launchers opened up at the time. I'd understand if CPs carry over if purchased on battleNET, but unsure if they would on Steam.Īnother thing I wanted to talk about is, if we will NEED TO HAVE BATTLENET launcher in order to launch this year's new cod even if bought on Steam. These are usualy exclusive to the corrent platfrom, for example, you cannot spend CPs you got on your PS/Xbox when you move on PC, you won't have them here, you'd have to use these CPs on your console, which then you will get access to the purchased bundle. I have a number of unspent CPs and I wonder if those will carry over. I originally thought so because I thought that old WZ and WZ 2.0 will share the same progression/inventory, which is not true.
